About

Why Arthritis Goodies exists.

Fifty eight million American adults have arthritis, and most of the tools sold to them look like they escaped from a supply closet.

We started Arthritis Goodies on a simple bet: the OXO peeler proved thirty years ago that designing for sore hands produces better tools for everyone. Somehow the rest of the category never got the memo. Retailers still ship brittle plastic in hospital beige with zero-return policies.

So we curate differently. Every product we recommend passes three tests: sore hands can use it, it will last, and you would be glad for guests to see it. When a category fails all three, we say so.

And when a category fails badly enough, we build the missing product ourselves.

The Swoop Brush

We got tired of recommending brushes that snap at the first knot, so we are building our own: a telescoping hairbrush with a grip you hold instead of pinch and a cushion pad you can swap. In development now, tested by real hands.
